
ABOUT ME
Angus Macnaughton is a game designer, generalist Unreal Engine developer and musician from Edinburgh, Scotland.
As a game designer, he has worked on several AAA projects both released and unreleased, including Steel Hunters, Switchback VR and The Devil In Me.
He studied composition under Nick Collins in Durham, UK, and Thomas Oboe Lee in Boston, Massachusetts. He has written music for all forms of media, including most recently the short film Corvus by director Lyle Bushe, and working with interactive music systems on The Devil In Me by Supermassive Games. In addition to composing and sound design, he has maintained a strong performance portfolio, performing in choirs, orchestras, competitive acappella groups and bands in both the UK and internationally.
Angus has always been interested in game development from an early age, initially with tabletop games and later, digital. He has particular skills with Unreal Engine, audio middleware such as Wwise, and rapid design prototyping.
In both music and game development, Angus is most passionate about creating a powerful atmosphere for the end-user, complementing and elevating visual feedback to create a memorable, exciting and engaging experience for players.
